Not Again!

Just last week I bought 2 tins of Nido 3+, each 1000gms and I remember paying Php700+ for both. I forgot how much it was for each, but I’m sure I paid a total of Php700+.

The 2nd tin is almost finished {well, yeah my daughter still drinks more than 3 btls of milk before she goes to sleep, that much! And eats a lot of solid “family” food as well}, so I hurried to buy 2 tins this afternoon.

I asked the lady if there’s 2000gms but unfortunately they don’t have, so I didn’t have a choice but to grab the same as what I bought last week, 1000gms. I asked for 2 tins again, but when she told me the total price of Php850.50, I was shocked that even the people in the queue looked at me because of my reaction “bakit magkano na ba isa?Php425.25 po ma’am, the lady said…

Huh? Eh kakabili ko lang din ng dalawa dito last week, around Php300+ each lang“, I explained her.

Ay opo tumaas na po kasi ulit“, she answered.

Oh well! Do I have a choice?

Making the bed is just one of my daily morning tasks. I remember doing the same thing yesterday morning! I just went to the living room to get something done. Few minutes later…. this was what I saw ahuhuhu!

Happy Blogging SAHM

There are many reasons for a blogging SAHM to be happy. First, if your blog earnings have covered enough to pay some of the bills coz your monthly remittance isn’t just enough due to emergency and over head expenses.

But there’s another one… and I believe all bloggers do! How about a PR1 for a young blog like this blog during Mr. G’s updates? Babaw no?

It made my day! Heehee!

Do you easily adapt to new things/surroundings? Unfortunately not! It takes a lot of time for me to adapt to new things completely because I choose not to. I am the type of person who first observe and if I feel that I really belong to the crowd/group, then it’s okay. Otherwise, I choose to be on my own.

Most of the people I just met in person think that I am snob, but really I am not. I give myself time to adjust may it be with the people I encounter or the places I am at. Maybe I have this fear of rejection that what if I smile at them and they won’t smile back at me. Same with the places I have been to, I try not to get myself used to it as if I’ve been there half of my life already. I don’t want to come to a point where I can’t let go of the place/person anymore. It is me who control it coz I know it’s the right thing for me.

I Did It For Baby Love

“Who said that the word “discipline” only applies to children?”, that’s what I said to myself right after I took my lungs out of danger. I first experienced smoking back when I was employed in Makati. Colleagues’ influence. But I never blamed it on them, it was my own decision to ride on their vices. Until I reached Bahrain - the place where no one could monitor me but myself. It has become a habit–a daily habit.

Since Derrick, my husband was also a heavy smoker, he couldn’t stop me. Besides he thought that a person should not stop one from doing the same thing, it has to be your own decision to quit, if that’s what you really want to do. So it was like “if you can’t stop her, join her and vice versa” sort of thing for us. I now confess. I smoked for 6 consecutive years like there was no tomorrow. My friends were telling me to stop. Can’t blame them, they were just concerned about my health. Many peopled dared. But no one among them succeeded, not even my parents who once caught me. No one, except for my little boss.
